Christine Townley - Executive Director
Christine leads the Trust and her role sees her design, develop and implement strategic plans for the organisation. Christine balances a demanding media and conference schedule with the day-to-day operation of the charity as well as delivery of the Trust's overarching mission...whilst drinking lots of cups of tea.
Christine's favourite building is Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
Vic Grimes - Operations Director
Vic is responsible for leading the delivery of the Trust’s training and education programmes in England and Wales. He also has responsibility for finance, information technology and human resources.
Vic draws upon his extensive experience designing and implementing social policy in his role; working with the senior management team to shape and deliver the Trust's programmes and business plan in line with our vision, mission and values.
Vic’s favourite building is the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
John Graham - Head of Business Development
John works with other members of senior management to shape and deliver the the Trust's organisational strategy. By developing strong industry partnerships, he ensures that the Trust is best placed to help young people access opportunities within the sector. John also has strategic oversight of Marketing and communications; Policy & Research and Fundraising as well as the BuildForce programme.
John's favourite building is the National Congress Building, Brasília.
Linda Ray - Administration Manager
Linda manages the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the Trust, including finance and human resources. Through her role, Linda ensures that resources are employed efficiently throughout the Trust.
Linda's favourite building is the Tate Modern, London
Lucinda Darby - Marketing and Communications Manager
Lucinda leads the design and delivery of the Trust's marketing and communications strategy, developing and growing the Trust's brand, online and social media footprint. She works closely with the Head Of Business Development to coordinate, collate and communicate our work to stakeholders and press as well as steering internal communications development.
Lucinda’s favourite building is Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Vicky Karoulia- Business Development Coordinator
Vicky works closely with the Head of Business Development with a particular remit to coordinate the Trust’s Corporate Engagement strategy across all our programmes and events; and a particular focus on developing the Trust’s ability to elicit unrestricted donations. She also supports the Marketing and Communications manager, with the coordination of key Trust events and marketing activity.
Vicky's favourite building is the Parthenon, Athens, Greece.
Aoife Drury - Military Programme Manager
Aoife leads on the planning and front-line delivery of the projects which support Armed Forces Service Leavers into work placements in construction. She works with partners to run successful Industry Awareness Days that bring the industry to life for Service Leavers and helps them to identify transferable skills.
Aoife’s favourite building is Battersea Power Station, London.
Jemma Bridgeman - Wales Manager
Jemma manages our projects and programmes across Wales. She works with construction companies, Local Authorities, Welsh Government and partner charities to provide Wales’s under-represented and disadvantaged people with supported transitions into education, employment and training in construction’s trades and professions.
Jemma’s favourite building is the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
Henrietta Davies-Dunn - North Wales SYMF Project Coordinator
Henrietta's role is to support young people returning from or at risk from entering the secure estate to find sustainable jobs within construction in North Wales. Henrietta supports young people holistically, ensuring there are no barriers preventing them from gaining and sustaining a role within construction for 6 months whilst involved with the project and beyond.
Henrietta’s favourite building is Harlech Castle, Harlech.
Owain Carter - Wales Project Coordinator
Owain's role involves brokering employment opportunities as part of the Symyd Ymlaen / Moving Forward project in South and West Wales and preparing the young people referred to the project for a 26 week paid work placement. He works alongside working employers and construction organisations to secure placements and ensure that the young people are supported once they start the placement.
Owain's favourite building is St Illtyd's Church, Llanhileth.
Kevin Morgan - Wales Project Coordinator
Kevin is responsible for the coordination, management and delivery of the Trust’s ESF Funded Budding Builders Active Inclusion project, working with young adults who are long-term unemployed or economically inactive and who have complex barriers to employment.
Kevin's favourite building is Llancayo Windmill near Usk.
Wyn Prichard - Construction Youth Trust Cymru Ambassador
Construction Youth Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Wyn Prichard as the Trust’s Ambassador in Wales. A former director of CITB-Construction Skills Wales, Wyn joins the Trust bringing with him his extensive knowledge of the construction industry and skills agenda in Wales as well as a passion for promoting the industry to young people as a real career choice and a route out of social exclusion.

Anna Walterskotter – London Regional Operations Manager
Anna manages the London team and is responsible for the resourcing of all activities within the training centre in Bermondsey and across our London Budding Builders project delivery. She is passionate about networking key industry players in developing community cohesion programmes benefitting young people across London and the South East.

Wendy Heller - Training, Development and Curriculum Manager
Wendy is responsible for the planning and development of curriculum, alongside delivery and evaluation of accredited and non-accredited construction training projects and resources.
Wendy's favourite building is the Chrysler Building, New York.
Stanley Curran - London Project Coordinator
Stan organises construction training courses across London, providing support for young people who are not in education, training or employment into careers in the construction industry. He works closely with delivery staff to offer classroom support and provides guidance for young people on their employability skills. He also works on forming important partnerships with youth and community organisations across London in order to effectively engage with young people.
Stan's favourite building is St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow.
Schools & FE Team
Tom Glover - Schools and FE Manager
Tom manages the Schools & FE team, leading on the delivery of a number of the Trust’s programmes, including; Budding Brunels; Budding Brunels Plus; Introduction to Property Development; and Foundations for the Future. He works closely with schools and corporate partners to ensure the programmes delivered give students a real insight into the construction industry. Tom also sits on the Trust’s Quality Assurance group, overseeing curriculum development. He may or may not make a mean coffee.
Tom's favourite building is the Natural History Museum, London
Deavon Sinclair - Schools & FE Coordinator
Deavon works in the Budding Brunels team and leads on the planning and delivery of the Budding Brunels Rail programme, which is exclusive to Network Rail. In addition to planning and delivering the 3 day Budding Brunels programme, Deavon also works closely with Network Rail professionals to support participating schools by running early engagement workshops and offering the expertise of these professionals to support teachers delivering a range of rail focussed STEM lessons.
Deavon’s favourite buildings are the pyramids of Chichen Itza, Mexico.
Ellen Shields - Schools & FE Coordinator
Ellen primarily plans and delivers Budding Brunels programmes across England and Wales, working alongside industry partners to deliver engaging courses that give young people an insight into the education and employment opportunities available within construction. As a Project Coordinator, she also facilitates work experience placements for Budding Brunels alumni and provides careers guidance to young people aged 14-30 who would like to pursue a career in the sector.
Ellen's favourite building is Museo de Bellas Artes, Santiago.
Mary Saakian - Schools & FE Assistant
Mary supports the Budding Brunels programme with the delivery and organisation of the accredited schools courses, which support social mobility and industry diversification by working in partnership with employers and leading universities. She supports and helps to lead the front line delivery of projects, liaises with companies, employers, schools, students and universities during planning, delivery and post-project.
Mary's favourite building is The Leadenhall.
Naomi Ryan - Schools & FE Coordinator
Naomi is a member of the Budding Brunels team which runs workshops that help young people discover the variety of opportunities that are available in the construction industry and help develop their employability skills for the future. She also helps to coordinate work experience placements and support Budding Brunels Alumni where possible.
